Care provided:

Our team provides 24/7 respite care support for James within a motel-based setting during his scheduled stays.

This arrangement ensures continuous care and supervision in a safe and supported environment, while also providing his family with planned time out and rest.

We deliver full personal care support throughout the day and night, including assistance with daily routines, mobility support, and safe transfers.

Michael is closely supported both within the motel environment and during community access, with a strong focus on safety, comfort, dignity, and ensuring his needs are always met.

Alongside physical support, we help Michael engage in meaningful social and sensory activities that enhance his quality of life.

Michael enjoys listening to music and singing, watching music-based television programmes and shows on his iPad, and participating in interactive story time, where staff read books to him and support him in pointing to familiar objects.

He also attends music therapy sessions with his instructor, with staff providing support to ensure he is comfortable, engaged, and able to participate safely.

The team prepares meals in line with Michael’s medical requirements and dietary guidance.

We also provide overnight support to ensure Michael’s safety, reassurance, and continuity of care outside daytime hours.

We maintain ongoing communication with Michael’s family and external providers to ensure his care remains coordinated, responsive, and aligned with his needs.
